Toyota Yaris Aston Martin Vanquish: IAC ready to provide armor for all vehicles

You would not recognize one if it was parked right next to you, and that is the point. International Armoring Corporation has more than 8,000 armored vehicles during the past decade, and instead of screaming for attention with over-the-top armored Dartz Prombron as ridiculous or cars produced by Conquest Vehicles, IAC prefer its vehicles to keep a low profile. The company has all shielded by a bus 45 feet for a Volkswagen Beetle, while maintaining vehicle near original appearance and performance.

To keep sacrificing performance, IAC upgrade the suspension and brakes, but Mark Burton, President and CEO of the CIA, said that customers should expect a reduction of 7-8 per percent acceleration performance and a 10-15 percent fuel economy hit.

With the easy molding composite Armormax, IAC can take on almost any project application. Even so, some cars are easier to work with than others. For example, a newer model Volkswagen Beetle was screened at the lowest level that protects against handguns high power such as the .44 magnum and .357 magnum. “I do not know if we could make this vehicle a high-powered rifle fire protection, but if we were given enough time, we could probably understand,” said Burton.

Ferrari and Aston Martin have all been on the operating table IAC at a given time. Although the new Aston Martin Vanquish recently hit the market, the IAC has performed reconstructive surgery on it. Vanquish the owner he had first to a different company, but the car was taken to IAC after the armor of the car has been tested and needed repairs. Burton said they even equipped economic class cars such as the Toyota Yaris.

While

an armored vehicle and Yaris Beetle is a little unusual, there is no doubt that they do the work. “We had more than 300 attacks against our vehicles, which is a good indication that there is a need for the product,” said Burton.

Special requests can run much higher, as a coach $ 1.2 billion shielded 45 feet. The bus was equipped with light armor equipment costing more than $ 300 per square foot, glass designed and installed communications systems.

Approximately 90 percent of clients are ITC countries. For some clients, in some areas, Burton said feeling an armored vehicle is needed is “almost on the point of how we feel to have a car alarm in some of our vehicles.” In response to this trend, IAC is to open two other sites abroad, which can help to make them more accessible armored vehicles in foreign countries.

IAC could not stand, but Burton said that it certainly can not report them. “It’s kind of fun to watch News CNN, BBC and Fox and see a head of state out of one of your cars.”
